Surgery without informed consent
Following a consultation with a cosmetic surgeon, my client was directed to take a sedative the night prior to, and again on the morning of, the scheduled procedure. Upon presentation at the clinic, a third dose of sedation was administered before any informed consent documentation was provided or signed. As a result of the procedure and associated actions, my client subsequently developed multiple infections.
